Introduction 

Welcome to the B-Skill Limited website, available at https://b-skill.uk. By accessing or purchasing courses from this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. 

Booking Confirmation 

All course bookings are to be made online by purchasing the desired course directly from our website. Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a booking confirmation via email. This confirmation serves as your receipt and confirms your place on the course. 

Fees 

All course fees are listed on the website and include VAT at the current rate, where applicable. The prices mentioned are final, and no additional payments are required unless explicitly stated. For non-UK customers, any applicable local taxes are included in the course fees. Course fees cover all relevant course materials. Please note that B-Skill Limited does not provide lunch or delegate accommodation unless explicitly agreed upon in advance. 

Payment 

Payment for courses can be made securely through the website using a credit/debit card or other available payment methods. Payment must be completed at the time of booking to confirm your place on the course. 

Purchase Orders 

B-Skill Limited may, at its discretion, accept an authorized purchase order in lieu of payment at the time of booking. Acceptance of purchase orders is subject to these terms and conditions. 

Intellectual Property 

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents, design rights, and know-how related to the courses or course materials provided or made available in connection with the course, remain the sole property of B-Skill Limited or its licensors. No copies of course materials may be made without the express written consent of B-Skill Limited. 

Privacy and Data Protection 

B-Skill Limited collects personal data necessary for the completion of the course. This data will only be shared with third parties as required to fulfill your booking. For regulated qualifications, personal data may be shared with the awarding organization to issue the certificate. 

Occasionally, B-Skill Limited may take photographs during training courses for marketing purposes. You will be given an opportunity to withdraw consent if you do not wish to be photographed. 

B-Skill Limited complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. Any data concerning EU citizens will also be processed or stored in compliance with the EU GDPR. B-Skill Limited is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). 

Cancelling Your Course 

If you need to cancel your course, please notify B-Skill Limited in writing via email: 

  • Should you wish to cancel an order you must contact the training provider within 14-days of purchase by telephone, email or in writing to its registered address.
  • Failure to notify B-Skill Limited of cancellation within 14-days, or if access* has been undertaken at any time, the learner will remaining liable for the full cost of the course.
  • The B-Skill Limited reserves the right to enforce a £50 cancellation fee to cover administration costs where access* has not been undertaken but the course is cancelled outside of the 14-day cooling off period. 
  • Access will be deemed to have occurred where the learner has logged into the learning portal and viewed the course content. 

As an alternative to cancellation, date changes may be considered at the discretion of B-Skill Limited, subject to availability and potential charges for any financial loss incurred. 

Cancellation by B-Skill Limited 

In rare and extreme circumstances, B-Skill Limited may need to cancel a course without prior notice. We will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible in such instances. In these cases, you will be offered alternative dates. If a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed upon, we will provide a full refund of the course fees. B-Skill Limited will not accept liability for any consequential loss and will not reimburse any other costs, including transport and accommodation. 

Extending the Course Duration / Additional Tuition 

If the course duration needs to be extended or additional tuition is required due to circumstances beyond B-Skill Limited’s control (e.g., learner absence), additional fees may be payable. 

Force Majeure 

B-Skill Limited shall not be liable to refund fees or for any other penalty should courses be canceled due to war, fire, strike, lock-out, industrial action, tempest, accident, civil disturbance, or any other cause beyond its control. 

Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a contract made in England and shall be construed and applied in all respects in accordance with English law. The parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
